Path Finder supports AirDrop, so you can quickly send files wirelessly to nearby Apple devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad) without leaving your file manager.
Send files via AirDrop
To send files using AirDrop:
In Path Finder, select the file(s) you want to share.
Do one of the following:
Click the Share button in the toolbar (if you have it added), or
Right-click the selection and choose Share > AirDrop (or similar).
The AirDrop panel will appear, showing nearby devices.
Click the device you want to send the files to.
The recipient will be prompted to accept the transfer on their device.
Requirements
To use AirDrop:
Both devices must have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled.
AirDrop must be turned on on the receiving device.
Devices need to be physically close (within typical Wi-Fi/Bluetooth range).
AirDrop receiving options on the target device (Contacts Only / Everyone) must allow your Mac to send.
These requirements are handled by macOS; Path Finder simply hooks into the standard AirDrop sharing system.
When AirDrop is useful
AirDrop is ideal for:
Quickly sending files from your Mac to your iPhone/iPad
Sharing files between two Macs without a cable or network drive
Sending screenshots, documents, and small media files to people nearby
Because it uses the same system share sheet as Finder, the AirDrop experience in Path Finder should feel very familiar.
