The Features tab in Settings controls which major features are enabled in Path Finder, such as Terminal, Git integration, cloud services, and keyboard shortcuts.
Open the Features settings
Open Path Finder.
Go to Path Finder > Settings….
Click the Features tab (name may vary slightly by version).
Common feature toggles
You’ll typically find options to enable/disable things like:
Terminal integration
Turn the integrated Terminal module on or off.
Git integration
Enable Git status icons and Git-related context menu actions.
Cloud services / Cloud Uploader
Control access to cloud upload features and supported providers.
Keyboard shortcuts
Enable or manage shortcut customization (details in the Keyboard Shortcuts article).
Other modules or tools
Certain advanced modules may have top-level switches here.
Features vs module settings
Important distinction:
Settings – Features
Controls whether a feature/module is available at all.
Module settings (gear icon / right-click inside module)
Control how that specific module behaves (appearance, fields shown, etc.).
See “Module Settings and Per-Module Options” for details.
If a feature is missing entirely, check Settings – Features.
If it’s visible but not behaving the way you want, check that module’s own settings.
Why disable features?
You might want to disable features you don’t use to:
Declutter the interface.
Avoid accidental use of advanced tools (like Hex Editor or Terminal) on production data.
Keep things more approachable for less technical users on a shared machine.
Use the Features tab as a master switchboard to decide which big tools are part of your daily Path Finder experience.
