Double-click when clicking icon | Enables you to open a file (instead of just selecting it) when clicking on its icon once. This option works only when clicking on the icon in any view (List, Column or Icon), clicking on the file’s name is not affected. |
Show undo panel | Shows you the dialog, suggesting a possibility of an Undo operation whenever possible |
File size calculation | Choose between Base 10 (1GB = 1000MB) and Base 2 (1GB = 1024MB) file size calculation. You can read more about this preference here |
Spring-loaded folders | Allows you to go inside folders while holding a file you picked up for a copy/move operation previously. Activate this option, then drag a file over a folder and hold it for a while – the folder will open and continue to dig dipper into the folder’s hierarchy, until you decide to drop the file into its new place |
Restore location after spring-loaded drag | After an operation with spring-loaded folders (see above) is over, this option allows you to return to the folder, where your dragging session began. |
Smart Sort order | By default the Smart Sorting lists Applications first, then Packages, then Folders, then Files. You can change this behaviour by changing this order, or disabling any of the items. |
