File Copy Queues is a file operations manager, which allows you to prioritize copy/move operations. This might be handy, when you want to copy several large files or folders.
The file operations progress button is situated in the upper right hand corner of the main browser window:
- Start a new file operation, for example, copying a file. The progress button is now signaling the progress with an animation and a progress bar
Click on the progress button and a pop-up will appear, where you can see more details about ongoing file operations. You can show the pop-up at any time by clicking on the progress button, hide it by clicking anywhere else.
When you start moving/copying more files, they get added to the progress pop-up, however they do not start copying immediately, because by default the file operations are queued (see the checkbox in the left corner). This means, that the second file will not start copying until the first one gets finished. You can start any operation manually by clicking the “play” button at the right.
