Deleting files

This may be covered elsewhere, but if so I can't find it. I would like a trashcan or some other mechanism in the icon bar at the top of Pathfinder that will allow me with one click to delete whatever file is currently highlighted.
This is a simple thing, but annoying when it's not available. And this functionality is so common to a file manager (be it Mac, Windows, Linex etc.) that I'm amazed it's not here in Pathfinder.

with best regards,
Dean Lind

    Thanks for reaching out!

Just right-click your Toolbar and choose "Customize Toolbar".
Having done that, move the "Move to Trash" icon to your Toolbar.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to write us back and we will be happy to assist you.
