I can't seem to sort files and folders by 'Ascending', i.e. in alphabetical order beginning with A at the top in column view. Command+J, toggle Ascending under Arrange by Name in Column View Options changes nothing, even after I quit and restart the application with Ascending checked. Any help much appreciated. Thanks for a great app!

    Hi Edmund,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Could you please specify, have you tried clicking on the "Name" column in order to change the way files are sorted?
    Did it make any difference?

Also, please follow the instruction and check if the issue still persists:

    1. Open your terminal and paste the following command to check if Path Finder has been slapped with the quarantined extended attribute:
      xattr /Applications/"Path"

    2. If you see returned as output from that last command, then go ahead and run this next command:
      xattr -d /Applications/"Path"

You won't get any feedback or output from that command, but that's okay because you can just run the first command again to see for yourself if the attribute shows up again. It shouldn't, and now Path Finder is freed from Apple quarantine jail. Restart your PathFinder now.

Let me know how it goes.

    Best Regards,
    Path Finder Support Team
