Why does PF Finder not find files on external USB drive or NAS drive? Finder works finding files on the PC but not on drives outside the PC.

MacBook Air
Mountain Lion

Thanks,
Matt

I now see that when I search the NAS that I get the stop button and the spinning icon on the bottom right of the Find window but I let it search for quite a while and it never finds anything. If I do a search on a USB drive, it does not have the stop button or the spinning icon.

    Matt,

Sorry for the slow response. Our dev team is already working on a similar issue with NAS drives, we will contact you when we have a fix. I've made this discussion private, in the case that our dev teams requires screenshots or other personal information.

Just a question? What is the format of the NAS disk?

OK on the NAS when you create a shared drive you have check boxes for Windows and Apple (screen shot below) which I have both. On my MacBook Air the share reports the format as AFP. From my Windows VM or Windows machines, the share reports as NTFS.
