Tags & Tag Groups

I recently upgraded from v5 to v6 of PF and have enjoyed the screencasts on YouTube, one was about using Tags and Tag Groups. I have managed to make Tags and Tag Groups and assigned them to files where needed, but I'm having trouble when actually searching for them.

Using the Find command and using the 'Spotlight' search in PF6, i can only get it to search files for one Tag only. For example i might have files tagged as 'Private' or 'eBook' but when i enter those two terms into the search selecting "Tags" from the drop-down menu it does not find any files. But if i enter just one tag name it finds those files with that Tag.

My questions is, Is their a way of adding more than one search tag term at once, as i have tried separating Tags by a space or a comma, i have even tried setting a separate Tag entry on the next line, but yields no results at all ~ IYSWIM?.

Any help or suggestions welcome.

Thanks :-)

A related question: Is there a way of tagging multiple files at once?

Yes, just select your files, press Option + Command + I and add the tag.

Yes, searching by tags is a bit specific and you've got a valid point that it needs a redesign. I just need to figure out what would be the best way to do that.

In the meanwhile, you can search for files with multiple tags by adding a single search column for each tag you want to search for. In your example, to search for tags "Private" and "eBooks", you'd have to do something like in the attached image. I hope that'd be sufficient until we do mentioned redesign.

This improvement for tag search will be implemented in version 6.1.3.
