Hi,
is there a way for pathfinder to "forget" the history in the path bar? i.e when you press the "back" key, it removes that latest folder from its history. so that when you do a search, it searches the folder you are currently in, not the next level down? Confused?

Also, is there a way of setting a starting directory for the second pane?

Thanks! Great product!

This option was available in v5 and was known as Keep path trail, which was accessed in the Path Bar dropdown menu. I don't know why it was removed by I also miss it. The starting directory still affects both panes.

Thanks for the reply. i thought it might have been hiding somewhere - but i couldnt find it. I wouldve thought that should be the default setting if anything... makes it terrible for searching the way it is. Anyway - back to version 5 for me for the moment... pity.
