Hello!

I have just updated to PF6 and remarked that the alternate row colors doesn't appear anymore, even when checked in the listview-options (CMD-J).

Any idea?

Thanks!

Regards,
Vlad Ghitulescu

Hi. There are alternate row colors in your screenshot, so I don't understand what you mean.

    Hello, Damazio!

    Thanks for your quick reply!

OK, Vlad, one of us must be colorblind. Go to the Utilities folder in your Applications folder and run DigitalColor Meter.app. Then hover your cursor over the rows and check for changes in the RGB colors.

    Hi, Damazio!

    Thanks again for your patience!
I followed your proposal, but first unchecked the vertical and horizontal lines (see new screenshot). After this I started the DigitalColor Meter and just then I observed the alternate row colors in the shadow of the window of DCM.app*! (see screenshot). I made 4 measurements, two of them nearer and the other two farther.
Can you see my problem now?

    Thanks!

    Regards,
    Vlad

Sorry, without seeing the cursor on the screenshots, it's hard to know where are you hovering. Your last 2 screenshots show the correct row alternating color, white and light blue. Unless you're confusing rows (horizontal) with columns (vertical)...

    Hello again!

The cursor was on the visible part of the stripes (in the shadow).
Anyway, here are two similar screenshots, one of the previous version 5 and the other of the current version 6 of PathFinder.
The alternate row colors are easy to recognize in PF5. Not so in PF6.

    Thanks again for your support!

    Kind regards,
    Vlad

The alternate row colors are easy to recognize in PF5 is not the same as the alternate row colors doesn't appear anymore. Just click on Farben Wahlen and choose your own alternating row color or check the Use default colors box to use the colors set in Preferences > Appearance.

I should get a bonus tap on the back for keeping my serenity at 6 am.

    Hi, Damazio!

Thanks, that solved my problem (and teach me something new about PF, I didn't know the effect of "Choose colors" until now).

The default colors are easy to recognize in PF5 and still not visible for me in PF6, so yes, they don't appear :-)
I could sent the RGB-values of the PF6 defaults - they're pretty near to white! - but I'll let the discussion closed ;-)

Can you feel my virtual tap? ;-)
Thanks again for the patience and support!

    Kind regards,
    Vlad
