Folder shortcut stops working until deleted

I often drag my most used folders up to the top of PF so I can access files without having to even open a folder in a tab. This works wonderfully until a network share is disconnected. Whenever I drag a folder from a network volumen up to the top of PF things work great until that volume is disconnected. The shortcut is still there but when you click on it it shows nothing in the folder even after remounting the network volume. I have to remove the shortcut from the top of PF and then re-drag it from the network volume. Is PF not able to either mount the network volume that folder is mapped to or at least when the volume is manually remounted follow that same path so I don't have to remove and then re-add the exact same folder?
