Keeping Selection After Deleting

I'm wondering if there's a way to keep the selection going after deleting a file in Path Finder's list view? What I'm hoping to accomplish is to build a work flow that allows for rapid purging of photos.

Right now when a file is selected in list view, and that file is deleted, the selection is lost and the mouse must be used to reselect where you left-off in the file list. I've used other Finder-like applications where this is possible. It seems like it would be a useful feature, especially when using QuickLook to edit long lists of files - be it photos. music, even data files.

Thanks,

Bill J.
