Any way to have pathfinder come up in osx lion when apps want to bring up a dialog to find a file? I keep landing in the mac finder and I hate it!

    Hi Peter,
Try going to Preferences --> Reveal and make sure the box is checked where it says "Set Path Finder as the Default File Viewer".

I just bought my license for v5 it seems like less than a month ago. Are
you really going to charge me again to upgrade to the latest version?
Seems kind of excessive. I try and be compliant on licenses, but this is
    a little over the top.

Path Finder 6 is a paid upgrade. You can trial it and if you wish to upgrade, just follow these instructions.

If you purchased v5 recently (within 5 months), it's a free upgrade, if not, it's a $20 upgrade cost ($15 this week only).

If you're eligible to a free upgrade, Path Finder will detect it and you need to enter your PF5 license in Step 4 on the instructions above.

If you wish to continue using an older version, just download it again from the homepage and enter your old license information, if needed.

If you get a time-out error, bear with us, it's being resolved.

For more information, please check the Knowledge Base.

[ This is a semi-automated bulk response to make sure you're following the upgrade instructions correctly. Please re-open if you feel the error is on our part. ]
