Batch renaming of files

Is there a way to use the batch rename option to rename a series of files and add a number sequence? For example, I have a folder of screenshots that I'd like to rename as follows:

Screen Shot 2012-04-12 at 09.15.57.PNG >> iPhoto 01.PNG Screen Shot 2012-04-14 at 11.34.00.PNG >> iPhoto 02.PNG Screen Shot 2012-04-20 at 10.32.05.PNG >> iPhoto 03.PNG

Ideally, I'd like the option to replace the current name (without having to specify it) with a name of my choosing and have the option to add a sequentially incremented numeral to the end. These individual options do seem to be available, but they can't be easily combined that I can see.

    Hi Jules,

It's pritty much selfexplainatory, when you try it. It shows you what the outcome is as you add criterias. Try it you cannot go wrong AND you can move the criterias before/efter eachother depending where you want text/numbers etc.

    Sincerely,

    DB

Ah, I missed the + button that lets the renaming options be stacked! It all makes sense now!
