Moving files to external drive doesn't remove them on local hdd

It only copies them (when clicking the "move" icon in the menu bar)

    same problem here. extremely annoying bug. cmd-x and cut from the contextual menu doesn't work, too. it only copies the files.

    Thanks, we may have a common pattern here, since this issue seems to have been reported by Snow Leopard users. We'll let you know.

    Same issue. Using Lion. (Drag) Move = Copy... let me know if this si fixed/resolved
