Using Existing Tags in PF

I find that if I use the "info" panel in Path Finder and enter a tag that exists in the OS the predictive feature of the OS doesn't present any tags from the existing list in the OS.
Reading the help function it seems that the PF should present existing tags, but perhaps I misunderstood.

I'd appreciate any guidance on how to generate existing tags without having to type the entire tag or switch back the FINDER to assign the tags.

    Hi there,

Mary from Path Finder support here!

By default, only PF tags are shown in Path Finder app. Unfortunately, the only way to bring up the tags that are already created in the system would be to type them in (several syllables should work to pull them up). They should be added to PF once you tag at least one file via PF.

Should you have anything else you’d like to address, please feel free to write us back, and we will be happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,
    Mary
