it would be great to be able to quickly mirror the left pane to the right, or vice versa.
Is this possible, now?

Would be happy to add to this

In a two pane set up
primary side shows columns shows all files in column view
and the other side second pane -icon previews of the same simultaneous folder

I deal with a lot of images
but image browser only shows the images
I need to track every thing in a folder
I need to see a larger version - icons - at the same time as I see the column view

what I'm looking for is a way to
have an module for "file browser (icons)" like an "image browser (just for images)"

and then if either changes view - the other pane follows

another way to think of it like the original post asked ( I think )
is there a way to link active selection between two panes? just with different view styles?
this can be done manually but you have to change the selection for each manually
    (extra confusing)

if I was king I'd like to see a Module that shows "all files" just like "Image browser"
call it perhaps an generalized version of image browser but for all types of files

im new and hoping the functionality is there but I just have not found it yet

Just to add a little more clarification

what I'm looking for is a module that is folder-based instead of file based

The preview module only deals with one file at a time (works great)
And the image browser module only deals with images inside of a folder (kool)

What would make my life easier is a folder based module in between "preview" and "image browser" modules

The possibility of an "all file Icon browser" module
    or folder based preview

so that I could see all files in a folder

this is one function that Adobe browser works very well at
    but has many other problems

Apologies for being confusing... UI is never easy
and if there is a way to do this
    please enlighten me

    Hi there,

Mary from Path Finder support here!

I'll add your feedback as a feature request to our developer, so he can consider adding such functionality in the future, if possible.

As for switching between panes, you can do so by navigating to View option in the menu dock > Dual Browser > Swap panes.

Should you have anything else you’d like to address, please feel free to write us back, and we will be happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,
    Path Finder Support Team
