Folders within Folders?

Sometimes folders show a little arrow such that the contents of the folder can be seen in a "dropdown" without actually opening the folder, and sometimes not. No clue why. One of many seemingly arbitrary behaviors of Pathfnder. Any help?

    Hi Rch,

Mary from Path Finder support here!

The reason why in some directories they are displayed and on some now is linked to view preferences you have set on your end. You would need to set your View Options (Command + J) to Arrange by None to display them in the directory of your choice. If you'd like to display them everywhere you would need to toggle the button at the top of the View Options popup and set it to All Windows and then, set your Arrange by option to None.

Should you have anything else you’d like to address, please feel free to write us back, and we will be happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,
    Path Finder Support Team
