Yet another basic display regression - Window title does not follow focus
I keep trying to give Cocoatech an opportunity to get upgrade money from me. But every minor version of PF10 that I try has basic display or functionality regressions that makes each one a no-go. Alas, 10.1.1 is no different.
In a window with multiple tabs, if I select a tab, the window title does not consistently change to reflect Path Finder's focus.
I've put a screen capture on Dropbox showing the problem. Keep an eye on the window title, as I click folder tabs in the window.

This issue is 100% repeatable for me. It persists after quiting and relaunching PF10. It also persists after a restart. This is with an Intel Mac Mini running 10.15.7.
I'm just baffled at the basic regressions I've experienced in every PF10 version; to say that this kind of thing doesn't exactly instill confidence in a Finder replacement is putting things mildly. What is going on at Cocoatech? This is even worse than back with PF8, when Cocoatech took forever to sort this kind of thing out.
PS: Your forum file chooser says attachments can be up to 10 MB in size. I attempted to attach the screen capture, which is 4.7 MB in size. But I got a "too large" error. Fix the forum software.

Hi there,
I appreciate reporting this to us, and I am sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing.
As I was not able to reproduce this issue on my end, could you send us a sample (a snapshot) of Path Finder process in a separate file? This will enable us to analyze what happens with the application.
Here's how to get it:
1. Open Path Finder and reproduce the problem. If the problem is dynamic (e.g. unexpected action result), please try reproducing it during the sample collection.
2. Open Activity Monitor from the /Applications/Utilities folder.
3. Select Path Finder in the process list. To help making a selection, type "Path Finder" in the Filter field.
4. Click the Sample Process button in the toolbar - this will open a new window entitled "Sample of Path Finder" and a sample of the process is collected.
5. Click Save and save the sample file.
6. Close (Command-W) the Sample window opened in step 2.
7. Send the sample file saved in step 5 to us.
I also would suggest re-installing the app and check whether the issue still persists.
Looking forward to your reply!
Best Regards,
Mary

Mary-
Your discussions site appears to be down, so I'm attaching the requested sample with this email. I've just tried 10.1.2 (I first reported the problem with 10.1.1). The problem is still occurring and still repeatable. I believe I was able to click a tab a few times during the sample collection, with the window title failing to follow tab focus.

Any progress on this regression? I just downloaded and tried 10.2, and there is no change in the behavior.
