Hello, I've recently upgraded from Path Finder 7 to Path Finder 9, and I've found that the right-click context menu option for copying a public Dropbox link is missing.

I use this feature every day, several times times per day, so this is significantly frustrating.

I've seen a couple other posts on this forum from people with this same complaint, dating from 2018 about Path Finder 8.

In those posts, customer support has responded with what appears to be a canned response about investigating APIs for cloud service integrations.

However, this is not a new feature--it was present in Path Finder 7, and is still bulit-in to the native Finder context menu.

Can you let us know the current status of this feature?

Thank you!

    Hi Soma,
Mary from Path Finder support here!

Can you please specify if this is the option you are missing? (screenshot attached).

It should be accessible to you within a Dropbox folder once you link your Dropbox as per this article.

If your Dropbox account is linked, but there is no such option in your Dropbox folder once you open a contextual menu, make sure you have added such contextual menu option under Preferences (Command + ,) > Features > Contextual menu.

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Best Regards,
    Mary

    Hi Mary,

That is indeed the option that I was missing, and adding it back worked exactly as you said--thank you!

My contextual menu preferences must have gotten reset when transitioning from PF7 to PF9.

    Thanks for your help!
