Color Icons in Sidebar

When I upgraded to Lion I was so annoyed that Finder no longer allowed colored icons in the sidebar.
I was delighted that PathFinder still allowed them.

Now version 6 seems to be a big step backwards and does not recognised colored icons. In fact, it does not seem to recognise
the icon assigned in the Get Info at all.

There is a new fix that allows it now in Finder so looks like will be going back to it.

Very disappointing Cocoatech.

go to the bottom of the sidebar, the gear icon - and create a new sidebar. it should be color. it works on my Lion MBP.
there are many threads about this here already.
