Dear Path Finer Folks, is it possible to give a clue on how you could show/see all sub-folders files in the current folder?

This is commonly defined as Flattened View.
1. In macOS's own Finder app, you may simply type " in the search field to this. I failed to make it in the searching of Path Finder.
2. Alternatively, in another app Double Finder, there is a button FLAT VIEW that does the same job.

Your help would be very much appreciated!

    Hi there,

Mary from Path Finder support here!

As I can understand, you simply want to search for a file within all sub-folders of the current folder, correct? Can you please specify whether you are using Spotlight or Find window?

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Best Regards,

nope that’s not my question. What I was wondering is a list view or u may call it flat view, which shows everything together (no matter it’s in current folder or sub folders). It’s out of PathFinder’s capability, isn’t it?

    Hi there,

    I appreciate the clarification!

Unfortunately, indeed, there is no such feature available in Path Finder, however, I'll pass this suggestion to our developer, so he can consider developing it further down the road.

In the meantime, you can switch to List View and then, expand all folders/subfolders manually to view the files stored there.

Please feel free to write us back, and we will be happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,
    Mary
