I'm watching activity monitor and the usage frequently blips up to > 60%, enough for me to close Pathfinder 9.3.2 (2049).

Same issues for me. I've had Pathfinder 9.3.2 (2049) rack up CPU to 98-100% and go unresponsive several times since the last upgrade. I did not have this problem on prior versions.

    Hi Neil,

Thanks for reaching out to Path Finder support team!

In order to fix the issue, please try to use the following suggestions:

Please choose a .txt file, open Preview module preferences (gear button next to its header) and uncheck "Colorize syntax".
Also, it may be worth trying to restore defaults for View Settings (CMD+J). Make sure to have "Calculate all sizes" unchecked here.

    Sorry for the inconvenience!

If after this you would still experience high CPU consumption, let us know, and we'll dig into this further.

Please feel free to write us back, and we will be happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,
    Mary
