I don't know how I can get rid of that inadequate behavior again.
If I double click an app in the app folder, PF should just start it, not regard it as a fancy folder (like an iTunes library) and showing me what's in there. Any ideas?

Best regards,
Yann

By the way, you might want to nam this forum the PF support forum.
As of now, it seems to be only supporting the outdated version PF8

    Hi Jan-Ole,

Mary from Path Finder support here!

The reason why the following thing happens is that you have Treat packages as folders option enabled.

In order for Path Finder to launch application once you click on it navigate to your applications folder, click on View in the menu dock > click on Show View Options (Command + J) and uncheck Treat packages as folders.

Please feel free to write us back, and we will be happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,
    Mary
