Hi,

I replaced my Finder with Path Finder some time ago. Yesterday every time I opened path finder it tried to contact http access big.assets.huffingtonpost.com. I did a reboot to my computer and tried again. After that it tried to contact s3.amazonaws.com. Why is this? Sounds very weird to me. Now I switched back to my original finder and it stopped trying to contact internet.

Do you have a possible explanation for this?

BR,

Andy

Amazon S3 is where our the Path Finder updater looks for an XML file containing release notes.

I'm not certain about huffingtonpost.com, that's not a part of the app. Have you downloaded anything from their site? Perhaps Path Finder was attempting to preview a webpage archive.
