Drag&Drop Problem while switching Apps with cmd-Tab

Hi,
when I want to drag a Path Finder File into an another App, I start dragging, then I use cmd-Tab to switch to my target App.
The target App shows up front.
But after 1 second or so, the Path Finder window comes back to front, making it impossible to finish the drag into a drop!
This is a buggy behaviour, Finder and other Apps don't do this (in Finder, the target App stays up front, so I can release and drop the file).

Thanks for looking into this.

    Hi Eric,

    Sorry for the delayed reply!

May I ask you to take a short screen capture of the issue via Command + Shift + 5 shortcut and send it to us?

Could you send us a sample (a snapshot) of Path Finder process in a separate file? This will enable us to analyze what happens with the application. Here's how to get it:

    1. Open Path Finder and reproduce the problem. If the problem is dynamic (e.g. unexpected action result), please try reproducing it during the sample collection.
    2. Open Activity Monitor from the /Applications/Utilities folder.
    3. Select Path Finder in the process list. To help making a selection, type "Path Finder" in the Filter field.
    4. Click the Sample Process button in the toolbar - this will open a new window entitled "Sample of Path Finder" and a sample of the process is collected.
    5. Click Save and save the sample file.
    6. Close (Command-W) the Sample window opened in step 2.
    7. Send the sample file saved in step 5 to us.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,
    Jordan

    Hi Jordan,

here is the sample of Path Finder as well as a Screen Recording of the Bug.
In there, you will notice Drag&Drop switching back to Path Finder every time I release the cmd-Tab keys. The target app window doesn't stay in front.

    Thanks,
    Eric
