Pathfinder 8 then 9, but...

I allready have a licence for Path Finder 8 and I don’t want to install Path Finder 9 on my Mac.
But when I use Path Finder, I have this window that appears (see attached file) ...
How do I stay on Path Finder 8 ?

    Hi Giovanni,

    Here's the link to PathFinder 8 should you decide to downgrade: https://get.cocoatech.com/PF8.dmg

    If you are running macOS Mojave or earlier, you might want to use Path Finder 8.5.4: https://get.cocoatech.com/PF8_5_4.dmg

    We also recommend disabling the automatic update checker in Path Finder. Please, quit Path Finder 8, then type in the following command in terminal:
    defaults write com.cocoatech.PathFinder SUEnableAutomaticChecks NO

    Hello,

    Thank you for your response.
    As you tell me below, I uninstalled PathFinder9, then I installed PF 8.5.4, then I left PF and I launched the terminal to enter the command :
    defaults write com.cocoatech.PathFinder SUEnableAutomaticChecks NO
    Now I have this message when I open PathFinder (see attachment)...

    How should I stop having this message ?

    Hello,

    I can't activate any copy because as soon as I open PathFinder8, I have this window which is displayed systematically (see attachment 1)...
    When I click on purchase, I fall on the PF9 purchase window.
    I still entered the address [email blocked] then the license PF8-5b4f 08fccbeda, but I have the answer: Email invalid
    However, I did everything as you said in your previous email :
     I reinstalled Path Finder 8 then after leaving it, I entered the command you indicated, in the terminal ( see attachment 2).

    How should I do it to reactivate my PathFinder8 and to be able to use it without being bothered by PF9 ?

    Pick "Purchase" to activate your license. It's a bit confusing, but it opens the license management window where you may purchase a new license or activate an existing one.
