Open in Finder not working

Still having this problem:
https://support.cocoatech.com/discussions/problems/133212-reveal-in...

Button (Finder face) in PathFinder does nothing or just takes me to another tab with the file - but in PathFinder - if I wasn't at the file level.
Contextual menu ("Reveal in Finder") does the same.

Please advise. Tried all the suggestions above (checking if quarantined in Terminal, etc.)

    Hi SF,

    Have you set Path Finder as your default file browser?

    Design guidelines require forwarding Finder requests to default file browser vs hardwiring them to just the Finder app, which unfortunately backfires in this specific case.
