Respectable Cocoatech Staff,
I have a problem with Path Finder 9.0.6 on my MBPro (10.15.2): it doesn't calculate folder dimension even if I open it with Administrator privileges (in Terminal: sudo open etc..). I granted to PF access to files and folders but it doesn't work.

Can you help me?

Thank you and regards.

    Hi there,

Mary from Path Finder support here!

First of all, please accept my apologies for such a delayed response. I understand how frustrating it might be not to receive any response for such a long time. I apologize and will make sure this won’t happen again.

Can you please specify if the following issue still persists once you update your Path Finder 9 to the latest version available, e.g. 9.4?

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Best Regards,
    Mary

    Hi,

Iā€™m sorry to affirm this issue still persists in Path Finder 9.4 (2057) on my Mac Book Pro 16ā€ (10.15.7) only in subdirectories (please see attached image for example).

I have to use Finder or Forklift to calculate folder dimension.

Thank you for your help and regards.

    Hi Giovanni,

Mary from Path Finder support here!

Can you please specify if you have checked Calculate all sizes option in your View Options (Command + J)? Make sure you have applied the following setting to all windows by toggling the button at the top.

If the issue persists, make sure to let me know and provide several screenshots for comparison between Path Finder and Finder.

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Best Regards,
    Mary
