Pathfinder is very slow copying files on network drive

I've had this problem for a long time with Pathfinder. Moving files from one network drive to another is very slow. Path finder will spend more time just making the list of files to move than Finder or "another dual pane file manager" will take to actually move the same files to/from the same network shares. I'd love some help with this, as the "another dual pane file manager" is very efficient at moving files around, but I miss the extra features that Pathfinder offers.

    Hi David,

Which version of macOS and Path Finder do you have installed?

Could you please let share more details on your setup - are your local drive and network drives SSD or HDD? What filesystem is used on either end?

Please feel free to write us back and we will be happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,
