Hi,

When I add modules and resize them, PF9 don't save the new size which is very annoying!!!

Please, fix it asap.

Thank you.

    Hi Didier and Wim,

Which version of macOS and Path Finder do you have installed? Do you see issues with shelf width/height or the proportions between modules in one shelf? Which modules are affected?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi Didier and Wim,

Thank you for reporting this, and for the screenshots!

Does it happen if you hide then show the shelf, or only between Path Finder 9 app quitting and restarting?

May I ask you to send us a sample (a snapshot) of Path Finder process in a separate file? This will enable us to analyze what happens with the application. Here's how to get it:

    1. Open Path Finder and reproduce the problem.
    2. Open Activity Monitor from the /Applications/Utilities folder.
    3. Select Path Finder in the process list. To help making a selection, type "Path Finder" in the Filter field.
    4. Click the Sample Process button in the toolbar - this will open a new window entitled "Sample of Path Finder" and a sample of the process is collected.
    5. Click Save and save the sample file.
    6. Close (Command-W) the Sample window opened in step 2.
    7. Send the sample file saved in step 5 to us.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,
    Jordan

    Hi Didier,

Does it matter if shelf is "open" or "hidden" between restarts (e.g. issue happens with "open" shelves only)?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi Wim,

Apologies! I was meant to ask you but the question is addressed to both you and Didier, as well as any users who experience the same issue.

As for the question: Path Finder 9 allows shelves to be opened and closed (i.e. either show all modules in them, or hide and show none). Does the issue appear both if the shelf is closed (not visible) or opened (visible) when you quit Path Finder?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,
    Jordan

    Hi Jordan,
As you can see in Screenshot01, I have 2 modules in the bottom shelve. Then I close the PF window and reopen it. Screenshot02 shows that the modules are resized.
    Hope it will help you.

I have the exact same problem. Info and Preview modules.

    10.13.6 High Sierra

Every new browser window doesn't load previous module width. Happens with or without bottom shelf open

    Hi Jordan,
The issue is still there in PF 9.0.2. Any news for a fix?
    Thank you.
