Path Finder 9 - Text File Preview Pane Still Missing Content

The Preview pane in Path Finder 9 still does not show content of plain text files. PDF, ODT, DOC, JPG, PNG etc. all display properly but TXT files do not. I reported months ago that Path Finder 8 broke this function but 9.0.1 did not restore it. Pressing the Space bar still opens a Quick Look window but it would be nice to have the Preview pane back for quickly running down a list of Text files when looking for a specific file. I am on El Capitan with Path Finder 9.0.1.

I echo the other posts asking that CocoaTech move bug fixes up the priority list rather than concentrating on new features and enhancements. I would just like to have the old functionality back; please leave breaking things in the name of progress to social media companies.

Yes, please; fix bugs don't add bells and whistles!!

    Hi Wally,

Which version of Path Finder are you running? What's your default .txt file viewer? Would you mind sending us a screenshot?

    Looking forward to your reply.
