Hi there,

When I use Pathfinder, it crashes my entire Mac. It appears to affect the finder, the force quit window and then eventually the entire Mac and I have to reboot.

I followed all the directions about typing into terminal and there quarantine was removed but it still crashes. (https://support.cocoatech.com/discussions/problems/127422-pathfinde...)

Is there anything else I can do?

    Hi Angela,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Please delete your preferences file ~/Library/Preferences/com.cocoatech.PathFinder.plist and check if the issue still persists.

    Looking forward to your reply.

I looked in my library and no such file exists…. Library folder is in the root directly, correct? Not under the user?

There is another one: system/library/preferences, but there is nothing there either.

    Hi Angela,

Sorry for the confusion, I did mean local Library folder (~ commonly stands for home folder, i.e. /Users/<username>/). You may open your local library folder from Finder -> Go -> (while holding Option⌥ key) Library.

Please feel free to write us back and we will be happy to assist you.
