Hi,

I have the same problem that was discussed in https://support.cocoatech.com/discussions/problems/149883-context-m... ie, I can modify the context menu but the changes don't appear when I right click on any file. I've done all the things discussed but still get the default menu (attached).

    Hi,

Are you experiencing issues with just the AirDrop Share menu item as well? Or other menu items are affected?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi,

The issue has nothing to do with AirDrop. The issue is that I can’t get anything other than the default menu if I click right, ie this one:

I’d like to get the customised one, like tis:

    Regards,

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Contextual menu items may appear and disappear based on context, e.g. :

    • Dropbox integration features will only appear in your Dropbox folder.
    • "Show Package Contents" only appear if you've selected a Package (e.g. an App).
    • "Contents >" and "Open in Tab" only apply to Folders and Packages
    • etc.

Hope that helps to clear the confusion!

    Best Regards,
    Jordan

    Hi,

If I right click on a file in the Dropbox folder I get the default menu plus the Dropbox items. If I right click on any other file in any folder I only get the default menu. All I’m looking for is to right click on a document, image, etc, and be able to select Share for example (or some other customised option).

    Regards,

    Matt

    Hi,

Why is Share in the customisation menu if it doesn’t work. What else doesn’t work? It looks like Copy To also does not work.

    Regards,

    Matt

Nope. Share in the context menu still doesn't work. They said it was on the list for the next version (they say that a lot) but it still does not work in PF9.

    :-(
