Path Finder 8 Activation

I opened Path Finder 8 the first time and entered the information to activate it. Had to do it several times before closely the program and reopening it finally stopped asking me to register or buy the program. Went a couple of days and it started doing it again. I activate it. It says it's activated. It says I have several remaining activations and this is the first activation. I close the program and reopen it later and have to do the same thing all over again. It's getting annoying. I would appreciate any help at a resolution.

    Hi Skip, 

    Could you please try rebooting your Mac and reactivating Path Finder after a reboot?

    If the issue persists, may I ask you to follow the clean reinstall instruction below: 

    1. Delete Path Finder and its traces according to the article: 
      http://support.cocoatech.com/kb/installation-and-compatibility/how-...
      (The AppCleaner option is highly recommended) 
    2. Download the latest version of the app from our site

    3. Launch Path Finder and move it to the Apps folder as the app suggests

    Note: your preferences will be reset.
