this has happened twice, neither time am I clear what got to here. It was most likely either opening a favorite from the top bar above the tabs.
see mov. for behavior

also - the first time I uploaded a mov, i got entity too big. maybe a notice before uploading instead of after. ther was no link to re-set report. backing up didn't allow to remove the first attachment, so had to re do the entire ticket. seriously, this now is the third time trying to upload a screen cap… honestly frustrated that you won't accept a 2.6M video showing of the issue.

    Hi Dave,

Could you please give us any additional details? Are you able to reproduce this?

As for the video, the limit should be at 10 MB. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Would you mind uploading the video to Google Drive or Dropbox and sharing a download link while we are looking into this?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi Dave,

Thanks! This issue was recently reported, it reportedly happens only in Column View with large path, most often opened through a bookmarks menu.

Could you send us a sample (a snapshot) of Path Finder process in a separate file? This will enable us to analyze what happens with the application. Here's how to get it:

    1. Open Path Finder and reproduce the problem.
    2. Open Activity Monitor from the /Applications/Utilities folder.
    3. Select Path Finder in the process list. To help making a selection, type "Path Finder" in the Filter field.
    4. Click the Sample Process button in the toolbar - this will open a new window entitled "Sample of Path Finder" and a sample of the process is collected.
    5. Click Save and save the sample file.
    6. Close (Command-W) the Sample window opened in step 2.
    7. Send the sample file saved in step 5 to us.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,
