Switching the sidebar favorites module setting

Hi,

I am using path finder 8 and I found out that other than tabs, I can also customize and saved the sidebar (as the favorite model).

I wonder is there a way to switch the settings more conveniently? Right now I have to click on the gear button of the favorite module and selected the saved setting.

It would be great if I can make a keyboard shortcut, or a button in the toolbar (there is a button for switching saved tab set)

Thanks.
Jake

I searched the forum and found out that I could have a work around using "saved browser" -- it should save tabs, view options, module, sidebar, toolbar etc.

I have a saved "personal" and "work" sidebars. I switched to "personal" sidebar, and saved to a "personal browser", then switch to "work" sidebars and saved to a "work browser".

However, when I tried to switch between the saved "personal" and "work" browser, the sidebar did not switch corresponding.

I wonder is it a bug or intended behavior?

    Hi Jake,

"Save Browser" does not save browser window configuration. It is the intended behavior as of now, however, we are looking into offering saveable configs for a future version too.

Please feel free to write us back and we will be happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,
