Favorites module

Hi there, I had been using the Favorites shelf under PF7 a lot.
It was perfect as a quick access central into all corners of my file system.

As it seems, there is no substitute for this in PF8.5.

Clicking on Favorites in the sidebar or creating a bookmark is not the same.

Any idea for a good workaround?

I created a second sidebar and it was glad to find out that I can configure it independently from my main sidebar. So far so good.

But, as stated in another thread (https://support.cocoatech.com/discussions/problems/101838-missing-f...), I have to drag the original folders to the Favorites section. Symbolic links and Aliases are not accepted, and that is bad news.

I'm glad you've found a solution, enabling flexibility was one of our goals. You may also remove unnecessary groups (e.g. Devices, tags, etc.) and save customized Sideboards to switch between multiple presets within a single module. Note that favorites are saved as a part of the module settings.

I will forward your message as a feature request to our developers for consideration.

Please feel free to write us back and we will be happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,
