Font color on desktop

After switching from dark mode to light, file names on the desktop are in black, and are hard to read except against very bright backgrounds. On the other hand, the size of the file is white. In the regular Finder the file names are readable in pretty much all backgrounds (screenshot). How do I make PF file names more readable?

    Thanks for reporting this issue!

    We've already submitted it to our developers, sorry for the inconvenience. 

    Meanwhile, please use one of the following workarounds:
    Disable Path Finder Desktop from Path Finder -> Hide Path Finder Desktop menu item, or
    Disable "Use system colors" setting in Path Finder -> Preferences -> Appearance tab
