Dual Browser/Active Pane Issue(?)

I’m running the same version (8.3.9) on 2 machines. On my MacBook, when I activate a pane in dual browser mode, using mouse/trackpad or tab key, and then select a directory in the side bar favorites, the directory opens up in whichever pane is active. This is as expected and what I’m used to. Recently, on my other Mac, however, when I activate a pane and then select a directory from Favorites, the directory opens in the LEFT pane, regardless of which pane - right or left - I have activated. It’s as if I cannot activate the righthand pane. Did I mess up a setting somewhere? I’ve quit and restarted the program, rebooted the machine, and reinstalled Path Finder. No change.

    Hi,

Please use Sidebar preferences (gear button next to the "Sidebar" header) and make sure that your Sidebar is assigned to both panes.

Let me know how it goes.
