Video of problem

When I twirl down/up on a folder to view its contents in list view the background flashes black during the animation.

Vance, I also had this problem in the beginning on some but not all folders but it eventually went away. I'm not sure how but I think it got solved after I did a reboot. Let us know if it works.

OK, some weird Rod Serling thing going on. After you replied, it started happening again on my end. Definitely some glitch. I reported this to Milke before, so I'll call his attention to this thread.

It happens only, if the number of list entries do not need the entire view (and you are in list view). In this case, the white space below the list entries flashes black during the twirl up/down animation.

That's it Juergen. Thanks for the accurate report. I opened a bug ticket.
[EDIT] Nope, that's not it Juergen. It's happening even with no white space on the bottom of list view.

On my MBP and on my iMac it happens only with white space below the list.
By the way, I have a workaround for this problem.
Turn on "alternate rowcolors" in the listview and the nasty flashing black area disappears totally :-)

    Best Regards
    Juergen

Now, I think you nailed it. It may be related to the alternate row colors, after all.

Hold down the Option key and Check for Updates. I posted a beta that fixes
    this.

Let me know if you find other bugs.

So far so good for me! That seems to have fixed it. (tested with alternate row colors on and off)
