There are 4 Recent submenus in the Go menu.

Under each, there is another submenu in which you are supposed to be able to set the number of items displayed in that submenu.
Go > Recent Applications > Recent Applications > (submenu with numbers)
Go > Recent Documents > Recent Documents > (submenu with numbers)
Go > Recent Folders > Recent Folders > (submenu with numbers)
Go > Recent Servers > Recent Servers > (submenu with numbers)

However, setting that number does not actually work.

To reproduce:

Have Recent Applications be set to 0.
Open an application from Path Finder.
Now, that application has been added to the Recent Applications submenu.

Have Recent Documents be set to 0.
Open a file from Path Finder.
Now, that file has been added to the Recent Documents submenu.

Have Recent Folders be set to 0.
Open a folder from Path Finder.
Now, that folder has been added to the Recent Folders submenu.

Have Recent Servers be set to 0.
Connect to a server (network share) in Path Finder.
Now, that server has been added to the Recent Servers submenu.
