How can I force pathfinder to re-read a directory that has changed but shows stale contents in pathfinder?

I'm using pathfinder to access files in an OSXFuse mounted filesystem. It appears that it's cacheing the contents of directories and not detecting file system changes and re-reading when the dir is updated.
I can see the updates in a shell, and with finder, but not in pathfinder. I have to close the app and re-open it, which is not desirable.

Is there any mechanism to force pathfinder to re-read a directory, or disable dir cacheing for specified locations?

Notice the tab's display vs. the context menu's dir contents in the attachment.
There is no nim/temp in the main browser window.
