Hello,

Some of the folders do not show in icloud drive There are some which show but they do not even exist in finder. and there are ones which have similar names to the ones which exist in finder but the names and the contents are not the same. I just bought path finder 8 hoping to be able to do my work more efficiently but instead of a stable solution i got into a chaos. I have tried all the solution i have found on this site but nothing worked really well.

Could you please help me with that?

Best, Attila Fekete

    Hi Attila,

Please follow the instruction and check if the issue still persists:

    1. Make sure that Path Finder is located in the Applications folder
(in case you are using macOS Mojave) Use System Preferences > Security & Privacy > grant Full Disk Access to Path Finder

    2. Open your terminal and paste the following command to check if Path Finder has been slapped with the quarantined extended attribute:
      xattr /Applications/"Path Finder.app"

    3. If you see com.apple.quarantine returned as output from that last command, then go ahead and run this next command:
      xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/"Path Finder.app"

You won't get any feedback or output from that command, but that's okay because you can just run the first command again to see for yourself if the com.apple.quarantine attribute shows up again. It shouldn't, and now Path Finder is freed from Apple quarantine jail. Restart your PathFinder now.

Don't hesitate to contact us should any questions arise.

    Best Regards,
    Jordan

    Hi,

Please confirm, are you using Mojave?
Have you made sure to use System Preferences > Security & Privacy > grant Full Disk Access to Path Finder?

    Hi,

May I ask you to follow the instruction and check if the issue still persists:

    1. Delete Path Finder and its traces according to the article:
      http://support.cocoatech.com/kb/installation-and-compatibility/how-...
    2. Download the latest version of the app from our site
    3. Launch Path Finder and move it to the Apps folder as the app suggests

Let me know how it goes.

    Best Regards,
    Jordan

    Hello,

I did everything as requested in your mail but nothing changed. The software is still not working. What is strange to me that I installed your software on a freshly installed Mac OS so there should not be any problem.

For example you can see two msecure folder. there is only one of these in the finder. I would be really grateful if you could help with this issue. I can not use pathfinder this way.

    What can I do now?
