Drop Stack - bug or feature?

I can move a file from one folder to another by dragging it. But if I drag a file into Drop Stack first, then drag it into another folder, the file gets copied instead of moved. Is this the way it's supposed to work or is there a way to move a file using Drop Stack?

Thank you.

    Hi Ryoichi,

A file should be moved whenever you use Dropstack.
Please follow the instruction and check if the issue still persists:

    1. Make sure that Path Finder is located in the Applications folder
(in case you are using macOS Mojave) Use System Preferences > Security & Privacy > grant Full Disk Access to Path Finder

    2. Open your terminal and paste the following command to check if Path Finder has been slapped with the quarantined extended attribute:
      xattr /Applications/"Path Finder.app"

    3. If you see com.apple.quarantine returned as output from that last command, then go ahead and run this next command:
      xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/"Path Finder.app"

You won't get any feedback or output from that command, but that's okay because you can just run the first command again to see for yourself if the com.apple.quarantine attribute shows up again. It shouldn't, and now Path Finder is freed from Apple quarantine jail. Restart your PathFinder now.

Don't hesitate to contact us should any questions arise.

    Best Regards,
    Path Finder Support Team

I was moving files around on pCloud. I discovered Drop Stack did not have any problem with a small file, but a large file would remain in the original folder. It looks like it's because of the slower speed of the cloud drive. The original file would eventually disappear if I waited a little while although I sometimes had to manually Reload the screen. Needless to say, it's not as quick as moving a file on an APFS drive. Obviously, I needed a little patience.

    Thank you for your help.
