I installed iTerm2.app from MacPorts, set the default terminal to it in Preferences » General. I've also chosen "Make iTerm default Term" in iTerm menu. However, when I type Option-Shift-Command-N, the menu item flashes briefly but no Terminal window opens.

    Hello Kim,

Do you still have this problem. I've got iTerm2 installed in my home application filder (~/Applications), I set it up as the default terminal application and it works properly when I choose Commands > Open in Terminal or File > New Terminal (opt+cmd+shift+N) command.
