    Hi John,

Are you on Path Finder 5 or 6?

    1. 5 worked fine, I believe, it used the Finder settings maybe.

I'll have to check with the developer, but it seems that Path Finder 6 now just uses the system defaults instead of running its own disk image mounter.

This can't be true as I have it set.

    defaults write com.apple.frameworks.diskimages skip-verify true

Nevermind. Apparently it uses system defaults (sudo) and not user like before. This can be closed.

    Thanks for the help.

License agreements also seem to be on, by default, with no way to turn them off.

I'll add this to our bug tracker, PF should reasonably respect user defaults

I lied, its still not working. Turning it off in user or system still doesn't work.

Path Finder doesn't do anything specific when mounting DMG images, it just invokes the default opener (most probably that's DiskImageMounter.app).

I tried writing those preferences and both options (true and false) worked fine when double-clicking a DMG image in both Finder and Path Finder. You may have some problems with preferences on your system.
