From the beginning PathFinder 8 does often not react anymore when I try to close a windows via cmd + w. I can see the spinning beach ball and I have to restart PathFinder.
Does someone else know the problem?
My system: iMac 5k autumn 2015 (16 GB RAM); macOS High Sierra 10.13.6

This is pretty much the real deal. 32GB, 16GB, 10.11, 10.13, Old Mac, New Mac, Fake Mac, Fast Mac, Double-Triple Super Speed SSD, Optane RAM, whatever.

I end up resorting to TotalFinder within 15-20 minutes after force quitting PF at least once.

I just don't get what is going on here. How is this -so- bad?

It didn't used to be like this.

I've got it on 5 different machines, 2018 MacBook Pro, 2012 MacBook Pro and 2008 iMac that isn't even supposed to be running 10.12 and it does.

The older machines actually run -better- than the others.

Other than having permissions visible in a column, I've pretty much turned off anything else extra.

I realize there are bills to be paid, but releasing half baked cake isn't how you do it.
The Fork came out sticky on this one.

    Hi Ulf,

May I ask you to follow the instruction and check if the issue still persists:

    1. Delete Path Finder and its traces according to the article:
    2. Download the latest version of the app from our site
    3. Launch Path Finder and move it to the Apps folder as the app suggests

Let me know how it goes.

    Best Regards,
    Path Finder Support Team
