there has been another guy with window setting problems, but i have to start a new thread. sorry for my bad english, but it is very simple: mac x.8 (mountain lion) , pathfinder 7.4.

i also have different styles/favourites for many windows/folders!!! and everytime i restart (ok, once a week it goes like that) i have do re-arrange the window-setting, for example, some are arranged by name, some by art/spezies and so on.

is there a way to manage this problem?

maybe it is important for an answer: i just use icon view, and pathfinder is just important for: font + bigger, coloured sidebar icons. maybe i should try PF6? (by the way: 7.4.1 is the highest possible on mac x.8). and tabs for sure

    kind regards, good evening

    Hi Mark,

Please follow the instruction and check if the issue still persists:

    1. Make sure that Path Finder is located in the Applications folder

    2. Open your terminal and paste the following command to check if Path Finder has been slapped with the quarantined extended attribute:
      xattr /Applications/"Path"

    3. If you see returned as output from that last command, then go ahead and run this next command:
      xattr -d /Applications/"Path"

You won't get any feedback or output from that command, but that's okay because you can just run the first command again to see for yourself if the attribute shows up again. It shouldn't, and now Path Finder is freed from Apple quarantine jail. Restart your PathFinder now.

Don't hesitate to contact us should any questions arise.

    Best Regards,
    Path Finder Support Team
