I get the following warnings when deleting files:

This action bypasses the Trash. You cannot undo this action.

Where can I change this?

It appears the function of the delete button on the tool bar has changed to remove files immediately (vs. put them in the trash). Any way to change its function back or at least get rid of the warning?

Go to View > Customize Toolbar and look for the Move to Trash button.
From the changelog, the one you're using was Move to Trash but had the Delete label so now there are two distinct buttons.
    Cheers.
